PARAMOTORING & POWERED HANG GLIDING are e fairly recent developments in foot launched flying. Using a paragliding canopy or hang glider and a small engine , it is an aeroplane that can be transported with the greatest of ease with the family car. Probably the cheapest and most portable way to achieve powered flight but these are fair weather machines. Experience tells us that you do need to be competent in controlling the glider first before moving on to the mechanical bit. So it does require training, but well worth the effort..
