Foot Launched Powered Aviation
There are two types of Foot Launched Powered Aircraft: Powered Paragliders/Paramotors and Powered Hanggliders. Both types of aircraft were developed into their current form during the late 90's and are continually being refined. All aspects of training for these aircraft in the Republic of Ireland is regulated by the Irish Aviation Authority.
Free Flying
This term has come to define the closely related sports of paragliding and hanggliding, you'll first need to learn to fly a paraglider or hangglider before you can fly either with power.
